ACHSB provides students, age 10+, in Alamance County and the surrounding area the ability to learn a musical instrument, meet new people, and have fun! The benefits of music education are far and wide.

Our beginner band, for students who have no previous experience playing an instrument, meet every Monday and Thursday, 4:30–5:15 pm. Mr. Morris provides instruction on playing the instrument, reading music and character development. Beginner band students will join Advanced band in the spring for our annual spring concert.

Our advanced band is for students with at least one year of experience. They meet every Monday and Thursday 5:15–6:15 pm. Character development continues along with advanced instruction. Advanced band members also participate in the All-County Band every February.
